Digitalisation in the Fiduciary Sector

Digitalisation in the Fiduciary Sector:

The way forward and changes at Hanna Treuhand

Digitalisation in the fiduciary sector is not just a trend. It is a necessity if we are to continue to work efficiently, securely and in a client-focused manner.

At Hanna Treuhand, we’re not just observing trends, we’re actively shaping this digital revolution. We’re always striving to offer our clients the highest level of service – fast, secure and, of course, increasingly digital in the future.

WHY DIGITALISATION? – The advantages at a glance

Going digital brings many benefits that make life easier for our customers and much easier for us to work with:

Less paperwork & faster processes

Instead of collecting receipts and sending them by post, they can be uploaded digitally via a secure digital platform.

Reduce errors & automate processes

By automating routine tasks such as data entry and data management, we can minimise error rates and increase efficiency.

More efficient collaboration & improved communication

Digital platforms enable fast and secure data exchange between us and our customers. This not only speeds up processes, but also improves personalised customer service.

Greater transparency & flexible access

Customers can view documents and accounting data digitally at any time. This provides greater control and planning certainty.

Secure data management & privacy

Advanced security systems protect sensitive data from unauthorised access, providing a secure environment for all financial transactions.

Mastering the challenges of digitalisation

Of course, digitalisation also brings challenges. Data protection, data security and the introduction of new technologies require careful planning. In addition, many customers have different needs and habits. But with the right strategy, every challenge becomes an opportunity.

That is why we at Hanna Treuhand are focusing on gradual digitalisation:

  • Data protection and data security

The protection of sensitive data is of paramount importance to our clients. Hanna Treuhand takes these concerns seriously and works closely with an IT company to ensure the highest security standards and the strict confidentiality of all client data.

  • Careful selection of appropriate solutions

Not every new digital solution automatically brings benefits. That’s why we make sure systems are efficient, understandable and easy to use before we implement them. New technologies should not only optimise our internal processes, but also facilitate collaboration with our customers and provide real added value.

  • Support for our customers

We understand that moving to digital solutions means change for many people. That’s why we actively support our customers along the way. Our team is always on hand to answer questions, provide support and guidance, and make the transition as easy as possible.

We asked our digitalisation expert in the team, Sandro Valentin, 3 questions. Here are his answers:

How does digitalisation affect the day-to-day operations of a trust company?

SANDRO VALENTIN:

«Digitalisation makes many processes more efficient. In the past, paper receipts from customers had to be received, filed and recorded manually. Today, many of these processes can be digitised, saving time and reducing errors. At the same time, digitalisation allows us to work more flexibly, for example by exchanging documents via cloud solutions, which provide us and our customers with a secure and easy way to provide and retrieve documents quickly.»

What are the challenges of digitalisation and how does Hanna Treuhand meet them?

SANDRO VALENTIN:

«In my opinion, one of the biggest challenges is the transition from familiar, manual processes to digital workflows. Both for us as trustees and for our clients. Some clients are used to working with paper documents and need to get used to digital solutions. This is why we focus on the gradual introduction of new systems and tools, and carefully assess which technologies really make sense before implementing them. For us, going digital does not mean changing everything immediately, but rather making targeted improvements that add value for us and our customers.»

What role does security play in the digitalisation of fiduciary services and how does Hanna Treuhand ensure the protection of sensitive client information?

SANDRO VALENTIN:

«Security plays a central role in the digitalisation of fiduciary services, as we deal with sensitive financial and corporate data on a daily basis. Digitalisation not only means more efficient processes, but also ensuring that this data is protected. At Hanna Treuhand, we therefore rely on two-factor authentication for access to our work environment. Documents are exchanged via a secure platform that is more secure than traditional email. Before we introduce new digital tools or systems, we check exactly where our data is stored and how it is protected.»

The role of our clients – How we help you succeed:

At Hanna Treuhand, we value our clients’ cooperation and involvement in optimising systems and processes to meet their needs and expectations.
